I do not try to be contemporary but strive for being timeless. I do not try to fit into any artistic movement or stick to one style. I have always painted what I wanted to paint. When I miss Mexico, I paint Mexican scenes from memory. When I am traveling, I paint pleine air landscapes on location. When I am at home, I sometimes paint my wife and children. When I am inspired to do so, I take on surrealist and symbolic work.
